I went out and shot some photos on Christmas Eve. Here's the roll.

A photo of the artist, in a short skirt, green jacket, tights, combat boots, and a beanie, in front of a sign that says "Channel Cat Water Taxi".

Autumn █████████ and I went out on Christmas Eve to get both of us out of our heads a bit and for me to go shooting. Here's a little sample of what Imogen and I shot today. All of these were edited with Darktable on Linux Mint.

Keeping watch.

A goose, floating in the Mississippi river.

I took a few of the geese on the lake. This one's my favorite, to be honest.

Two geese, floating in the Mississippi river.

There's a couple others, though...

...like these two.

A long shot of the I-74 bridge and an old tugboat.

Once the sun started going down, I started trying to get some photos of the bridge across the river....

The Mississippi river, with the Iowa side of the river in the distance.

The next few are me learning split-toning in Darktable. Here's the Channel Cat Water Taxi sign.

A small boat dock.

More split-toning with the Channel Cat docks.

A sittin' table on the river bank, with the I-74 bridge in the background.

A picnic bench and the bridge lit up in all its LED glory.

A small bench, covered in foliage and rusting away. The nightlife building lights of downtown Davenport are in the background, far across the river.

A lonely bench

And that's what I shot today! Here's one last one of the geesies. See you next time!
